Although I haven't blogged in almost two years, I have been steadily completing projects for the games I play. As some of you may remember, Gothic Horror gaming using the Chaos in Carpathia rules was always near the top of my geek list. Fear not - it still is a game I play and my collection has grown fairly significantly since 2012.
I painted these Brotherhood miniatures about a year ago. They are from Westwind's "classic" horror range and I just love them. I cut a few corners on these (obviously), primarily by restricting myself to one highlight. I must say however, I never realized what a poor job I did on the priest's eyes (read: black cavernous eye sockets). Oh well, he looks fine on the table.
My collection now consists of the following warbands: Hungarian Monster Hunters, Brotherhood, Nosferatu, Romanian Vampires, Werewolves, Dr. Frankenstein and his Creations, not to mention 20 wolves, a choir, and numerous townsfolk types. I streamlined my Secret Objective and Campaign system last year as well. I plan to make the final documents and cards available as pdfs very soon for those who are interested. The biggest change is that Human warbands and Monstrous warbands have slightly different paths to victory, I'll leave it at that for now.
Anyway, for an explanation of where I am in the hobby right now, not to mention why I started a new blog in favour of continuing the previous one, check out the About Me page right here, and as always...
Thanks for reading,
